Mary Neville was born in Ireland and graduated from the National College of Art & Design in 1988.
She worked as a graphic designer for five years in Scotland, before travelling in Asia for a year in 1991. From 1995 to 2000, she lived and painted in Taiwan, with a year out in 1997 to travel in Africa.
Her paintings are a celebration of colour, with her early work being more representational and invoking scenes and memories of a personal travel log from Asia and Africa. Her current work reflects the ever changing light and weather of the Dingle Peninsula. As a saying goes ……
‘A man travels the world over in search of what he needs, and returns home to find it.’Share this
