The Artist

The three sisters Ailbhe, Ester and Louise Barrett may share the same name but the inspirations for their works are wholly diverse.

With little formal education they are self-taught professional artists working form their home in County Limerick as the threesistersart.

Ailbhe’s landscapes in oil are prompted by her travels at home and abroad, Esters paintings and latterly bronze sculptures reflect her great love and understanding of the horse and finally Louise gains her inspiration from her interest in the outdoor pursuits of hunting and sailing.
