Ballybunion, by the Sea

New Work in Draíocht from Eva Nowinska, reminding us of happier summer holidays on our doorsteps. Virgin Rock, Ballybunion, Co. Kerry

 

 

Eva graduated in a Masters Degree on Academy of Fine Art in Katowice (Poland),painting. She currently lives in Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick

Most of her work is of the Irish landscape, painted  in oil, but she also  is very adept at portraiture. Eva has been a regular exhibitor and art tutor in Draíocht  since 2018.

Clodagh Redden New Bronze & Porcelain Sculptures

Clodagh Redden in Draíocht.
The themes and motifs used in Clodagh’s work are symbolic of a spiritual journey between life and death. The Greek mythology of the ferryman Charon carrying the souls across the River Styx is the original concept of these transitional vessels but she also incorporates Celtic motifs, tonalities and mood within the pieces.
