Mary Neville was born in Ireland and graduated from the National College of Art & Design in 1988.
She worked as a graphic designer for five years in Scotland, before she lived and painted in Taiwan 1995-2000, with a year out in 1997 to travel in Africa. Her paintings are a celebration of colour, with her early work being more representational and invoking scenes and memories of a personal travel log from Asia and Africa. Her current work reflects the ever changing light and weather of the Dingle Peninsula. As a saying goes ……..Since 2000 she lives in Brandon West Kerry, where she restore the cottage opened The Teer Gallery in 2001. Draíocht hosted a solo exhibit of Mary’s work in May 2018.
